65th Berlin Film market is almost finished…Distributors and sales agent are slowly packing their booth and moving to the next scheduled festival. EFM Berlin reviled some quite negative side of the industry. The future of documentaries doesn’t look good…frankly it looks quite bad. The guilt lies in Broadcasters that found a new way to avoid financially supporting the projects…

Distributers and sales agents were more accessible as usual. They say they want to be involved in the early stage of the production because this would help them later to find the right buyer and a market. This means they can go in early stage of the production financially in and not just wait for a rough cut. Film makers have to make their home work and see what kind of a movies are the distributors and sale agents looking for.
